Will I undergo any tests in my first fertility consultation?
- Published on April 20, 2021
No, patients do not undergo any diagnostic tests during their first fertility consultation. The first visit largely involves reviewing the medical history of the male and female partner as well as understanding their fertility goals. Ovarian reserve test is recommended for women and semen analysis is recommended for men. In case these tests have already been done, the results of these investigations are also discussed in the first visit.
