Dr Shyla Usman Ali is a fertility specialist with over 9 years of experience in reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technology, including 850+ IVF cycles. She has experience in IVF, IUI and ICSI and is also trained in important stages of an IVF cycle, including ovum pick-up and embryo transfer. Her work involves understanding the individual factors that may be affecting fertility and helping patients explore the treatment options that may be suitable for their situation.

Her training in reproductive medicine includes an Advanced Diploma in ART and Reproductive Medicine from Kiel, Germany, along with a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from ICOG and FOGSI. She also has experience in fertility preservation and regenerative treatments. Her expertise in minimally invasive gynaecological procedures and broader experience in women’s health can help when gynaecological concerns need to be considered alongside fertility treatment. She also has experience in managing high-risk pregnancies.
