Dr K U Kunjimoideen

Dr K.U. Kunjimoideen has over 28 years of experience in fertility and reproductive medicine and has completed more than 25,000 IVF cycles. He holds an expertise in managing a wide range of fertility concerns, including PCOS, endometriosis, blocked fallopian tubes, uterine abnormalities, and male infertility. He also has experience with more challenging cases such as advanced maternal age, secondary infertility, and repeated IVF failures.

Dr Kunjimoideen was among the early practitioners of daycare IVF in Kerala and has extensive experience with IVF, ICSI, embryo transfer, and fertility preservation. He is also trained in minimally invasive and gynaecological endoscopic procedures, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. These procedures can be useful when conditions affecting the uterus, ovaries, or fallopian tubes need to be assessed or treated as part of fertility care.

Apart form his clinical work, Dr Kunjimoideen has contributed to research and has several publications to his name. He has also been involved in discussions around fertility care at the national level. He served as Chairperson of Kerala ISAR from 2022 to 2024, President of the Kerala Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and was the Founding Secretary of the IFS Kerala Chapter. A Gold Medallist in MD Obstetrics and Gynaecology, he brings his long clinical experience into consultations by discussing the patient’s concerns and treatment options in a clear and practical manner.
