What to Expect at Your First Visit at Our IVF Center in Ranchi?
Although each IVF experience is unique, there are often multiple phases to the treatment process.
STEP 1
First Consultation
During the first consultation, fertility goals and past medical history is discussed. It is recommended that you bring all test results if you have previously tried IVF or IUI, so that you only need to undergo testing that is needed. However, past test reports of 6 months are only admissible.
STEP 2
Fertility Tests and Evaluation
Post the consultation, the specialists list down all the tests required. This can include semen analysis, hormonal tests, AMH tests and genetic testing, if needed.
STEP 3
Individualised Treatment Planning
Your fertility specialist recommends the best course of action after analyzing the evaluation results.
STEP 4
Stimulation of the Ovaries
Drugs to promote the growth of many follicles may be recommended for an IVF cycle utilizing the patient’s own eggs.
STEP 5
Retrieving and Fertilising Eggs
Once the follicles are ripe, a preset procedure is used to retrieve the eggs. Depending on the clinical circumstances, the eggs are then fertilized in a lab setting using either IVF or ICSI.
STEP 6
Development of the Embryo
Fertilized eggs are monitored as they develop into embryos in the embryology lab.
STEP 7
Transfer of Embryos
The treatment plan and clinical evaluation will determine whether to implant a suitable embryo into the uterus.
STEP 8
Pregnancy Testing and Monitoring
Following embryo transfer, a pregnancy test is conducted at the time the fertility team recommends. Depending on the pregnancy outcome and clinical needs, additional follow-up is given.
