Pre-requisites for consideration of candidature:
- Bachelor/Masters degree in accounting, business management or Pharmacy
- 12-14 years experience in leading procurement in Hospitals/Healthcare retail
- Should have team management experience
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Create the procurement strategy roadmap based on short-term and long-term growth plans of the business
- Supervise the entire purchase to payment process to ensure that business needs are met in a timely manner
- Drive cost savings (profitability) across all products and services through tight negotiation and influencing skills
- Proactively build and develop sourcing/supply channels based on business, quality and cost requirements
- Keep abreast with market trends, including competition pricing and help business make stronger decisions based on market intelligence
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key vendors to leverage benefits for the business
- Ensure optimum inventory and cost controls
- Manage reporting /MIS for senior management
